What you'll do:


As Business Manager LPG in Perth, you will play an instrumental role in shaping both the day-to-day operations and long-term strategy of the LPG business across Western Australia. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional outcomes through effective oversight of commercial activities-ranging from compliance management to marketing campaigns-while ensuring every process meets rigorous safety standards.


  • Oversee all aspects of the LPG business in Western Australia, ensuring alignment with organisational goals for profitability, safety, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans aimed at expanding market share, improving competitive positioning, and driving sustainable business growth.
  • Directly manage regional profit before interest and tax (PBIT), taking responsibility for sales revenue targets, cost control measures, and overall financial performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team by promoting organisational values, ethical standards, and a culture of safety-first thinking throughout all operations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers through regular engagement, account management excellence, and proactive resolution of client needs or concerns.
  • Drive marketing initiatives that support brand visibility while overseeing tender processes and bid management to secure new business opportunities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant compliance requirements by implementing robust risk management protocols and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations.

What you bring:

  • Comprehensive understanding of price management principles alongside gross margin analysis techniques essential for informed decision-making in commercial settings.
  • Expertise in advanced sales methodologies coupled with marketing know-how; ability to coach others in negotiation strategies that result in sustained customer satisfaction.
  • Experience managing key accounts-including regular engagement with top-tier clients-and demonstrated success securing new business via tenders or bids.
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to LPG operations; proven commitment to workplace safety supported by practical experience implementing robust protocols.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills enabling clear presentation of strategic plans or reports tailored for various stakeholders across multiple levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline (or equivalent experience); broad technical understanding of LPG products plus familiarity with account management tools.
