By building strong relationships and collaborating closely with insurers, you'll be at the forefront of our growth, ensuring client needs are met with precision and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and retain a portfolio of existing commercial clients across various industries.
- Provide tailored insurance advice and solutions based on client needs and risk profiles.
- Prepare and present insurance quotations, renewals, and policy documentation effectively.
- Negotiate with underwriters and insurers to secure competitive terms.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and generate new business.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Support senior brokers and collaborate with internal teams across Australia to enhance service delivery.
- Ideally a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an insurance broking or underwriting role (commercial lines preferred) but also happy to look at candidates with experience in other fields such as mortgage or finance broking.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to client service excellence.
- Capacity to work independently while also being a contributing member of a supportive team.
- Familiarity with broking platforms and CRM systems such as Insight or WinBEAT is advantageous.
- Willingness to pursue or hold a Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification.
- A background in Insurance Broking or Underwriting, with a focus on commercial lines, is preferred.
- Ability to navigate a dynamic work environment and manage multiple client needs effectively.
