The Opportunity
We have a vacancy for a full-time leadership position, to join our OSHC team. Your role is to lead 10 Service Managers (Coordinators) and their teams providing before and after school care and vacation care to ensure the highest levels of operational, people, safety and financial capability. At Jabiru we strive to create a place where the children we look after have a safe place, where belong and have fun.
This role reports to the Head of Operations and works alongside passionate colleagues and an extended management team of exciting industry experts, to deliver great outcomes for children.

Great professional judgement to make great decisions, and a demonstrated ability to apply relevant training, knowledge and experience to direct courses of action.
How would you describe your leadership style?
Focused on question-based coaching that helps people reach their potential by developing innovative and successful solutions that build capability and confidence ...so that they can role model great coaching to those around them.
What is your vision for your Performance Leads?
I want our Performance Leads to create a workplace where people go to bed on Sunday night and feel great about going to work on Monday. That’s it.
Who should NOT apply for this role?
Anyone who is not prepared to move fluidly throughout a day, someone who is not able to prioritise and re-prioritise according to the needs of the day, someone who does not enjoy working with people and want to make a difference in the lives of the children we work with
Someone who cannot think on their feet and is not an autonomous decision maker
Someone who just wants to do the 9-5, in a repetitive environment, or someone who doesn’t genuinely value the people around them.
Anything else?
This role is about empowering the people you work with and influence everyday to make the make the lives of children better. It matters.
The role is dynamic and ever changing which makes it a fun and interesting position to be in, no one in this role will know everything as so many new challenges come up regularly.
How much does it pay?
A competitive salary plus phone and laptop for company needs and access to a company vehicle.
