Are you passionate about aviation and ready to lead a transformative program? Toll Aviation is seeking a dynamic Aviation Implementation Program Manager to oversee the implementation of the State Police and Ambulance Rescue Aviation Service (SPARAS) program in South Australia. This program will deliver Airborne Law Enforcement, Search and Rescue, and Medical Transport services via fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft based at Adelaide Airport.
The role of the SPARAS Implementation Program Manager involves leading the mobilisation and implementation phases of the contract, with a focus on planning, resource allocation, and risk management. Key responsibilities include engaging internal and external stakeholders, overseeing resource management, identifying and mitigating risks, monitoring performance metrics, and applying best practices for continuous improvement. You will manage the program's rollout to ensure that all elements are implemented within agreed timeframes.

Key Responsibilities
- Project Mobilisation and Implementation: Lead the mobilization and implementation of SPARAS, focusing on planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Resource Management: Manage the allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Risk Management: Identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project progress and report on performance metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply best practices and lessons learned to enhance the SPARAS program.
- Program Management: Oversee SPARAS as components are implemented according to schedule.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Masters preferred.
- Experience: Minimum five years in complex aviation project and program management.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve program goals.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Project Management: Proficiency in project management software and tools like Smartsheet and PRINCE 2.
- Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making abilities and strategic thinking.
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to manage large budgets.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in project planning and execution; adaptability to changing project requirements.
- Travel: Some domestic travel required. International travel may be required.
- Security Clearance: Ability to hold a Secret security clearance, pass police checks and hold an ASIC.
