Project Manager

• 12 month engagement + extensions
• Must be in Canberra
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

The Role

• Proven ability to lead complex digital transformation projects with multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, and regulatory oversight.
• Extensive experience in managing data migration activities, including planning, risk mitigation, testing, and verification across multiple platforms.
• Ability to proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and maintain momentum on critical path deliverables
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with a track record of negotiating outcomes and aligning cross-functional teams towards shared goals.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, including preparation of executive briefings, risk registers, and status updates for governance forums
• Experience working across business and IT teams, acting as a bridge to ensure shared understanding of scope, priorities, and deliverables
• Demonstrated capability in change management leadership, including developing transition plans, training strategies, and end-user engagement
• Familiarity of content management systems or equivalent government platforms is desirable
