The Role
You’ll run the full finance function of a fast-moving, design-led manufacturing business that’s growing and evolving.
That means:
- Managing everything from payroll, BAS, and bank recs to financial reports and forecasts.
- Working directly with the leadership team – yes, you’ll have a seat at the table.
- Getting your hands dirty in the day-to-day, but also helping steer the ship long-term.
- Digging into job costing, stock, cashflow, capex – you know how much it matters.
- Calling out inefficiencies and helping to make things better. Not just reporting them after the fact.
You
You’re probably already doing a role like this, but you want more say, more visibility, and less red tape.
You’ve got:
- 5+ years in a similar role (bonus if it’s been in manufacturing, trades or project-based work).
- CPA or CA (or you're working on it).
- A no-nonsense grip on compliance – ATO, BAS, super, FBT.
- Experience working with FX rates to protect margins and optimise international purchasing decisions.
- The confidence to speak up, not just add up.
