What's the role?

Are you passionate about crafting compelling content and ensuring every word is just right? As a Sub Editor for Bunnings, you'll be at the heart of our editorial team, contributing to the seamless delivery of Bunnings magazines and digital content. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the accuracy, tone, and quality of all content, ensuring it aligns with the Bunnings brand. Reporting directly to the Chief Sub Editor of Bunnings magazine, you'll collaborate closely with the Bunnings magazine team and partnership team to shape engaging stories that resonate with our audience across both print and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Sub-edit and generate editorial content for both print and digital mediums, utilising your proficiency in InDesign and WoodWing Studio.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in all content by fact-checking advice, statistics, sources, and product details, following team processes for checking and filing.
  • Ensure all content aligns with a consistent tone of voice and adheres to the magazine style.
  • Manage client sign-off by actioning feedback accurately and promptly into the content.
  • Write and sub-edit advertorial content as required, in line with editorial guidelines.
  • Contribute creatively to ideas sessions and workshops, bringing fresh perspectives to the table.
