Join the Retirement Living team at the Merriwa Estate and support our residentsas our newest Grounds and Maintenance Person! This role will see you be responsible for the care and maintenance of the estate grounds and related infrastructure.

- Maintain estate reticulation, gardens, parklands and common areas in accordance with prescribed maintenance programmes and ad-hoc requests.
- Undertake landscape and grounds renovation works as required.
- Operate a range of tools, plant and equipment including, mowers, edgers, whipper snippers, chainsaws etc,.
- Maintain pools and surrounds with regards to cleanliness and chemical requirements.
- Liaise with external contractors to repair or replace equipment that requires the skill of qualified tradesperson.
- Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents and visitors.
- Promptly attend to or report items/issues requiring attention and respond to general emergencies as required.
- Experience in a grounds and maintenance role at Retirement Living is desirable.
- Skilled in operating and servicing a wide variety of machinery and equipment.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised and within a small team environment.
- MR license is desirable.

- Have a National "C" Class Drivers Licence
- Satisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment to be within six months from date of issue) or willing to obtain one
