About the Role
Our Salvation Army Housing - Finance team is looking for a strategic thinker who thrives on optimising cashflow, managing rent review processes, and driving impactful financial decisions that support long-term housing outcomes across Australia.
As a Revenue and Rentals Coordinator, you will be responsible for effective management of cashflow from rental income. You will also assist with tenant rent reviews across all properties nationally, with responsibility for reporting and recommended interventions for tenant arrears. This opportunity is permanent full-time position based in Blackburn.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage national tenant rent reviews and rental income calculations in line with program and legislative requirements.
- Report on arrears performance across all states, recommending interventions to improve collections.
- Provide accurate cash flow reporting, forecasting and analysis for short- and long-term planning.
- Liaise with banks and treasury to optimise cash reserves and interest income.
- Support the Financial Controller with proactive, commercial insights to enable informed decision-making.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in cash management or treasury operations, or residential tenancy finance. You will have high engagement levels and excellent relationship building capacity to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
Key Capabilities:
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or Economics; CPA/CA (or progress toward) desirable.
- Strong analytical and advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Proven ability to partner with operational teams and communicate financial insights clearly.
- A heart for community outcomes, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
