What's the role?
As a Studio Controller, you will be required to direct live broadcasts and pre-recorded pieces for multiple shows across our channels. Working in a control room environment, the Studio Controller works closely with a Producer and frequently in pairs with a second Studio Controller to showcase a high standard of news and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct and assist programs in conjunction with Producers and other departments
- Works in a team environment.
- Capable of learning and using Mosart and ENPS
- Basic fault finding, setup, installs and/or operates television equipment.
- Intermediate computer skills on software applications and diagnostics.
- Gives instruction but in conjunction with appropriate higher level.
- Performs a range of maintenance functions.
- Works under routine guidance and is subject to intermittent checking.
- An individual who is passionate about television and is currently active in or seeking the opportunity to work in the television industry
- You have a good understanding of a live studio control room and its roles.
- Experience in using the studio automation system Mosart is preferred but not required.
- The ability to work and thrive under pressure.
- A willingness to learn in a multi-skilled environment and adapt to new technologies in broadcasting.
- Enthusiasm and passion for working in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The flexibility to work within a 7 day a week rotating roster
