Salary Sacrifice Details
As a not-for-profit entity, our employees can package up to $18,549 p.a. of their taxable income before your income tax is calculated. Up to $15,900 p.a. on every day expenses (such as mortgage payments, rent, groceries, bills and insurance) plus up to $2,649 p.a. on meal/entertainment benefits.

During your varied day as our Lifestyle Therapy Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing activities that are designed to enhance the physical, cultural, spiritual and social well-being of our residents. Evaluating group and individual lifestyle programs and facilitating the participation of residents in a variety of experiences, you will be improving their quality of life.

- Coordinating resources and staff/volunteers needed to deliver activities while mentoring them to enhance wellbeing and quality of life for residents;
- Overseeing and assessing resident needs to develop person-centred care plans and activities;
- Developing and delivering one-on-one, small and large group leisure and recreational activities;
- Supporting residents to participate in activities and build relationships, attending to their personal care needs;
- Reviewing individual and group lifestyle plans, programs and activities to identify if residents’ needs are being met;
- Maintaining accurate documentation of activities, recording individual resident-focused information in care documentation.

Ideally You Will Have
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health;
- Light Rigid Bus Licence (Class LR) or ability to acquire this licence within three months of commencement, depending on the transport requirements of the particular facility;
- Experience in developing and implementing contemporary leisure and recreational programs, within the Aged Care industry;
- Comprehensive understanding of the Accreditation process;
- Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate;
- National Police Check or the ability to acquire.
