Job Overview: We are looking for a financial and operations generalist. You will drive streamlining operational processes and handling remittance. You will be central to ensuring we scale with strong financial and operational clarity across the business.

You will work closely with both our finance and operations teams to clean up messy systems and bring insight to our finances.

Day to day

First 30 days

• Handle and optimise merchant remittances
• Build internal dashboards for financial and operational performance

First 6 months

• Review and revamp cancellation, change and late payment processes
• Monitor merchant and collections key risk KPIs

Long term

• Ensure financial operations are scalable, reliable, and insight-rich
• Ensure day to day business operations runs smoothly

Key Responsibilities

Finance

• Remittance management: handle end to end remittance process to partners
• Financial Reporting: establish and ensure data integrity for financial dashboard such as Sales and Merchant Concentration Risk Dashboards.

Operations

• Operational process optimisation: documenting and improving key operational processes
• Operational support team visibility: addressing gaps in support team’s knowledge and showcasing support team KPIs

Qualifications

Previous Experience:

This role is perfect to a recent commerce of finance graduate who wants more creativity and autonomy. You will have responsibilities across both finance and operations.

• 1-3 years experience in a finance operations or analyst role
• Background in startups, fintech, or global payments is highly desirable
• Exposure to budgeting, financial control systems, and cross-border payments

Skills:

Financial Skills

• Cross border payments: on time payments to partners across multiple currencies.
• Basic budgeting: Competence in drafting building and maintaining monthly budgets, variance analysis and budget reconciliation (to be confirmed by finance team)
• Experience building financial dashboards and ability to clean and maintain structured datasets

Operations

• Process design: ability to streamline processes and clearly communicate changes to the team
• Leadership: being point of call for operations team for process training and escalations
• Strong communication: closing loop on tasks, setting and sticking to timelines, raising issues and blockers. You will be expected to collaborate with operations and sales
