About The Role

This role is a 9 month max term contract.

BOQ Group are excited to be hiring for the position of Senior Manager Revenue and Balance Sheet Analytics. Reporting to the Head of Group Performance Management Services, this role is key to supporting the strategic and financial success of the Group.

BOQ Group is investing in a significant digital transformation whilst also strengthening the Group via continuous improvement governance uplift programs and regulatory change programs.

The Senior Manager Revenue and Balance Sheet Analytics is responsible for supporting the Financial Performance Management of the BOQ Group.

The role will support the formulation and communication of enterprise-wide financial performance and outlook to senior leadership and will help identify and drive the performance imperatives.

Specifically, you will be responsible for uplifting performance reporting, budgeting and forecasting for revenue and balance sheet, commercial insights and overseeing the Group’s funds transfer pricing processes.

The role requires the formation of close working relationships across Group Finance, Product and Treasury and will require strong collaboration, influencing, stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.

As the Senior Manager Revenue and Balance Sheet Analytics you will be detail orientated, commercial and hands-on when required, while also having the capability to operate at the strategic level to support senior leadership in managing the business.

You will develop the team to ensure financial processes are increasingly effective and efficient, team engagement remains high, stakeholders are appropriately supported and the function is considered to be very high performing.

About You

Education and Qualifications

  • Degree Qualified (Finance or Accounting)
  • CA/CPA/CFA (desirable)


Experience

  • Mulitple years experience working in Finance within a large financial services organisation


Knowledge and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of financial management concepts in the banking sector
  • High level leadership and experience co-ordination and stakeholder management in financial processes
  • Experience working with revenue modelling and decision support
  • Board and external financial market messaging/writing experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to successfully manage people and change initiatives
  • Structured work approach with the agility work with ambiguity
  • Highly skilled at gathering, manipulating and analysing data.
  • Ability to work at a detailed level without losing sight of the big picture
