Join the team at Hilton Adelaide as a Food and Beverage Attendant, where you’ll contribute to creating memorable dining experiences across our diverse outlets—including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and events. In this guest-facing role, you’ll deliver warm, professional, and efficient service that reflects Hilton’s commitment to excellence.

Hilton Adelaide is centrally located, overlooking Victoria Square. The hotel has 377 rooms ranging from guest rooms to the executive floor and suites. Hilton Adelaide offers unrivalled conference and events facilities comprising of 19 meeting rooms. It is the only 5-star hotel in Adelaide able to host 500 delegates to meet, eat and sleep, all under one roof.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all guests.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar teams.
  • Serve meals and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and service.
  • Set up, clear, and reset tables in line with Hilton brand and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in service areas, including dining spaces and workstations.
  • Prepare and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages confidently and responsibly.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and liquor licensing regulations at all times.
  • Operate POS systems accurately, handling cash and card transactions responsibly.
  • Assist in delivering seamless service during banquets, conferences, and special events as required.


What We're Looking For

  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (South Australia).
  • Previous experience in hospitality or a customer service-focused role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or other service items.


Highly Regarded

  • Experience in hotel, fine dining, or multi-outlet food and beverage environments.
  • Barista skills or cocktail-making experience.
  • Basic understanding of HACCP or food and beverage safety standards.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms.
