Join Sugar Australia as a Logistics Analyst based at our Yarraville VIC Head Office. This permanent, full-time role is perfect for someone with a strong background in logistics, data analysis and extensive exposure to SAP who wants to make a real impact across our third-party warehouses and transport operations.

Reporting to the National Logistics, Procurement and Freight Manager, you'll play a key role in driving supply chain performance, managing inventory accuracy, analysing freight and warehouse costs, and supporting key commercial decisions with data-driven insights. You'll work closely with internal teams, 3PL providers, and key business stakeholders to support reliable, efficient and cost-effective delivery of our products across the country.

The sweet things you'll be involved in:

As our Logistics Analyst, you'll combine data, insights and collaboration to drive operational efficiency and reduce costs across the Sugar Australia and Wilmar Ingredients businesses. From managing stock variances to analysing freight spend, your work will directly support service, accuracy, and cost outcomes across our supply chain.

What you'll be doing:

  • Analysing supply chain data to uncover cost-saving opportunities and improve logistics performance
  • Monitoring inventory levels across multiple 3PL warehouse providers and investigating stock variances
  • Managing monthly reconciliations, freight reports, and cost analysis for warehousing and transport
  • Coordinating and participating in national stocktakes and supporting data integrity across systems including EDI troubleshooting
  • Supporting freight and warehouse budgeting processes with robust data and reporting
  • Preparing timely freight and warehousing quotes for the Sales team and assisting with cost recovery from 3PL providers
  • Collaborating with 3PL partners to resolve issues, improve DIFOTIS performance, and ensure service levels are met
  • Driving continuous improvement across logistics, freight, and inventory workflows
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams to support accurate, timely product movement and prompt issue resolution
  • Evaluating supplier performance, supporting tenders, and leading logistics improvement projects.
  • Contributing to safety, Chain of Responsibility compliance, and maintaining national pallet governance

What we're wanting you to bring to the table:

We're looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, an analytical and data-driven mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years' experience in a supply chain role (logistics, planning, warehousing)
  • 3+ years' experience in inventory management or control
  • Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments (highly regarded)
  • Experience working with 3PL providers and a strong understanding of logistics processes
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Proficiency in SAP and comfort working with large data sets
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
  • A collaborative team mindset and customer-focused approach
