Senior Developer/ Engineer (SQL & PL/SQL)

Client is looking for a skilled Senior Engineer/ Developer with deep expertise in SQL, database development, solution design, and stakeholder engagement.

Skills & Experience Required

• Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support business requirements.
• Lead and document solution architecture and design, including formal presentations to governance bodies.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering team growth.
• Engage proactively with stakeholders to refine and document business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to assess feasibility and drive innovation.

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with API integrations (RESTful, SOAP, HTTP, Web Services).
• Proficiency in Groovy or Java scripting.
• Familiarity with Amanda (highly desirable but not essential).
• Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or SVN, including repository management, branching strategies, and conducting code reviews.
