Senior Electrical Designer

Our client, an EPCM company, is looking for a Senior Electrical Designer to join their Brisbane team.

Project: Mineral Processing projects

Location: Brisbane CBD

Duration: 3-month initial casual contract (with a view for extension)

The Role Responsibilities Include

• Design & prepare E&I detailed design drawings for mineral processing plants projects that meet the company's, the client’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in peer reviews, interdisciplinary reviews and consult relevant resources as required and also contribute to the development and improvement of project design systems, processes, practices and procedures (where required).
• Communicate effectively and regularly with the project Lead, engineers, other discipline design teams, and Project Engineers/Managers on design progress, technical matters, workshare and resource planning
  
  

What You’ll Have

• A recognized certificate / Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Trade Qualifications
• Relevant years of experience in designing and drafting with majority of experience in the resource industry.
• Competency in MicroStation & 2D design (SLD, schematics, termination, layouts and block diagrams).
• 3D modelling experience in E&I is advantageous.
