About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst; they serve as a bridge between business needs and technology solutions. They work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, and collaborate with IT teams to design and implement effective technical solutions. TBAs possess a strong understanding of both business operations and technical systems, enabling them to translate complex business problems into clear technical specifications.
Key Deliverables
- Be the technical conduit between the project vendor and internal and external stakeholders
- Review the technical requirements (development stories and acceptance criteria)
- Facilitate workshops and gather requirements from stakeholders as needed, documenting outcomes
- Identifying gaps in the technical requirements and working with the Project Manager, vendor and Architect to resolve the gaps
- Assist architect by gathering technical details for solution options analysis and development
- Manage project environmental requirements
- Support the transition to BAU and handover activities
- Define, document and maintain project documentation such as as-is/to-be business processes, data flows etc, using Confluence/Jira
- Support Non Functional Testing & API/Functional/Integration Testing
- Support deployment preparation
Desired Technical Skills would be expected to include, but not limited to:
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, NextJS and Form.io
- Experience with process mapping tools
- Experience on projects delivering front end applications
- Working in a complex multi-vendor environment is advantageous
- Experience with Government ways of working is advantageous
- Sitecore knowledge is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in using Jira/Confluence for project documentation and collaboration.
- Strong research, problem solving and analytical abilities to develop range of options.
