We’re looking for candidates who excel in building relationships and communication, rather than focusing solely on technical claims experience; this role offers an opportunity to make a real impact by using your communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build Strong Relationships: Develop meaningful, ongoing relationships with workers, employers, allied health professionals, and GPs. Balance different perspectives and drive collaboration to ensure a safe return to work.
- Goal-Oriented Case Management: Manage each case with a focus on achieving the best outcome for all involved, from claim initiation to return to work. Your goal is to unite all parties to reach a mutually beneficial resolution.
- Autonomous Time Management: With 40-60 claims to manage, you’ll be trusted to organise and prioritise your workload, adapting to changing needs and maintaining flexibility for urgent tasks.
- Empathetic Support: Provide emotional and practical support for workers, including those with psychological trauma, and navigate complex situations with care and professionalism.
- Efficient Administration: Ensure accurate documentation, processing, and clear communication. From writing return-to-work plans to organising travel arrangements, you will manage the administrative side with precision.
About You:
This role isn’t just about managing claims; it’s about managing people’s journeys back to work. While experience in personal injury claims is valuable, we’re seeking candidates who excel in:

- Empathy and Resilience: You can handle tough conversations with sensitivity and resilience, helping to guide workers through difficult moments.
- Communication Skills: Whether it’s negotiating with employers, explaining policy details, or motivating workers, you communicate clearly, with purpose and impact.
- Autonomy and Time Management: You’re a self-starter who can plan and prioritise your day effectively, managing multiple tasks and cases while maintaining high standards.
What’s in it for You?
- A Rewarding Career: This is more than just a job; it’s a chance to make a real difference in people’s lives, guiding injured workers back to their careers and helping employers foster safer workplaces.
- Hands-On Training: No prior experience in claims management is necessary. You'll receive comprehensive training as part of a cohort that ensures you're supported every step of the way. We value life experience and personal skills, and we’ll equip you with everything else you need to succeed.
- Flexible Work Environment: Enjoy a hybrid work model with the flexibility to work from home, post-training, while maintaining strong team collaboration. 0.8 rota is also an option for staff members. No weekend or evening work required.
- Competitive Salary: $90k + super (12.75%), with the opportunity to work in a supportive, values-driven environment.
