The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Health and Safety Training Coordinator to work with us at Burton Mine. This is a great opportunity to join the Mining Pro team in a full-time position and have potential long-term career growth.
Mining Pro provide mining services, sub-contractor management and mine support services for the mining industry in Australia. Our site teams execute operational mine plans that allows our client partners to focus on running safe, productive and profitable mining operations.

The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Health and Safety Training Coordinator to work with us at Burton Mine. This is a great opportunity to join the Mining Pro team in a full-time position and have potential long-term career growth.
- Full-time position with annual and personal leave
- 7/7 Roster
- Previous experience working in a Health & Safety or Training role preferably within the mining industry
- Working knowledge of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Regulations 2017 and associated regulations
- Participate in incident investigations and support the tracking and implementation of preventative actions
- Proven experience with risk management practices and processes
- Experience in building relationships with regulatory bodies and senior personnel in relation to safety culture and safety systems compliance
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Tertiary qualification or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (Desirable)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE 40116 (Desirable)
- Valid Australian Driver Licence
