What You Will Be Working On
You’ll master the complete approvals lifecycle, while using cutting-edge Power BI systems to track progress and exceed targets. Your role combines technical expertise with stakeholder coordination, ensuring thousands of construction projects move smoothly from concept to build-ready status.
Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Liaise with councils, developers and private certifiers regarding site and build requirements
- Undertake compliance assessments prior to lodgement of planning and building applications
- Manage specialised processes including BAL assessments, arborist and acoustic reports
- Submit and track building permit applications, developer approvals and planning applications
- Update comprehensive tracking reports and maintain accurate file management across multiple systems
- Prepare, submit and track other council applications as required, including verge, crossover, landscaping, construction management and traffic management.
- Collaborate with Sales, Drafting, Design, Estimating, Client Liaison and Construction teams throughout the customer journey

Other skills and attributes which will make you successful
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Understanding of Residential Design & Building Codes of Australia
