As a Project Manager in the Program Management Function, you will be contributing to all BDA programs through enabling executing PM in managing PM people, process, systems and governance oversight.

This role is based in Brisbane.


In this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Deliver Boeing Project and Program Management Training across BDA and other Boeing groups.
  • Lead Program assurance reviews and facilitate Program Best Practice self-assessments.
  • Conduct program management gate reviews.
  • Managing all phases of assigned projects to successful and timely completion.
  • Identification and management of Risk, Issues and Opportunities including proactive escalation of "Help needed".
  • Improving project management processes and business systems that support project decision makers.
  • Engaging with programs to identify any help needed and support to PM processes.

About you

You are a collaborative leader who will bring PM technical skills, effective communication and relationship building strengths to support our team. You are someone who is comfortable working autonomously and as part of a wider community to seek and drive project outcomes and continuous improvement.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Project Management role.
  • Formal Project Management, Engineering, Business or Management qualifications is desired however prior experience will be considered.
  • High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all project management areas and experience in managing projects to successful and timely completion.
  • Drive and passion to grow capability, mentor and coach other PM professionals.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and hold, or have ability to obtain, an Australian defence security clearance.
