Key Responsibilities:
Accelerate patient reach of Lilly medicines by developing and executing innovative consumer marketing strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, market dynamics, and the ability to leverage data analytics to inform decision-making.
This role is also responsible for leading Lilly’s commercial partnerships and pharmacy strategy in the Specialty business unit. This includes partnerships across the Australian pharmacy channel, wholesaler network, and through developing innovative business models within the private healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver clear consumer campaigns that lead to customer satisfaction/trust and improve P/L
- Ensure strong execution excellence across priority consumer initiatives including consumer activation and patient support/retention
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches, brand building, and consumer engagement initiatives.
- Utilize market research and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Collaborate with brand team, medical affairs, and market access teams to optimize product positioning and messaging.
- Manage marketing budgets and assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
- Foster strategic partnerships and relationships with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and patient advocacy groups.
- Responsible for the development of an overarching strategy focused on building and strengthening key relationships with key pharmacy banner groups, wholesalers and private healthcare organizations.
- Be the conduit between the Lilly Specialty Business unit and key pharmacy stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate with internal business stakeholders, including clear, accurate, and data-driven reporting on performance as well as insightful commercial learnings
- Experience in key account management in the private market would be favourable to enable accelerated business growth alongside high-quality, holistic patient care.
Key Competencies & Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in consumer marketing, preferably from a consumer product good, tech, or financial industry
- Ability to understand customer insights and pull through creative that is culturally relevant, engaging, and meets country regulations
- Customer journey mapping experience required. Understands and addresses leakage as consumers move from awareness to prescription to start and stay
- Experience delivering PESO in action collaborating closely with communications and media teams to drive activation
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing decision-making
- Demonstrated the ability to develop long term strategic pharmacy plans from vision to implementation with success
- Entrepreneurial mindset combined with sound commercial acumen and effective communication skills
- Leadership skills (particularly in cross functional collaboration, decision making and leading without authority)
- Ability to thrive in a high pressure and ambiguous environment
- Stakeholder management, and expertise in influencing and negotiation
- Key pharmacy account and/or B2B management experience
- Experience of both intermediary and direct distribution models is desirable
