• Lead a team of Social Workers to provide high quality, evidence-based, responsive social work services to a broad range of client groups in the Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit
• Advocate for vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals and families through fostering key stakeholder relationships within ED/SSU and across the Hospital
• Initiate quality improvment activities, delivering excellence in patient-centred care within a crisis-driven medical setting

What you'll bring:

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team with complex individuals and families across the lifespan
• Advanced clinical Social Work skills
  
• Enthusiastic with demonstrated team building and leadership capabilities
  
• Strong understanding of, and ability to comply with relevant legislation and frameworks underpinning health social work
  
• The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
