- Lead a team of Social Workers to provide high quality, evidence-based, responsive social work services to a broad range of client groups in the Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit
- Advocate for vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals and families through fostering key stakeholder relationships within ED/SSU and across the Hospital
- Initiate quality improvment activities, delivering excellence in patient-centred care within a crisis-driven medical setting
What you'll bring:
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team with complex individuals and families across the lifespan
- Advanced clinical Social Work skills
- Enthusiastic with demonstrated team building and leadership capabilities
- Strong understanding of, and ability to comply with relevant legislation and frameworks underpinning health social work
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
