About the role:

• Analyse construction drawings, specifications, and contractual terms to prepare precise estimates.
• Assemble accurate, competitive proposals across various project formats including Lump-Sum, Design-Build, and Construction Management.
• Conduct comprehensive quantity take-offs and manage subcontractor quotations and negotiations.
• Develop detailed project budgets and schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Coordinate and document outcomes of site inspections effectively.
• Maintain and regularly update Tender Registers, providing clear insights.
• Actively participate in value engineering discussions, providing practical insights.
  
  
  

About you

• Minimum 4 years of experience in estimating, ideally within the refurbishment and retail
  
  
  

sectors.

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven track record of managing the tendering process efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.
• Adept at maintaining effective relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating software (Cubit & E1) highly desirable.
