Your New Role

You will be joining our team as a dedicated Business Tester. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Business and Technology teams to ensure end-to-end solutions work as required before release through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and continue to function correctly in the production environment via Business Verification Testing (BVT).

The key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Planning and Preparation: You will work with Business Analysts to understand requirements, prepare UAT test scenarios, conduct risk analysis, and coordinate test data setup
  • Execution, Monitoring, and Reporting: You will facilitate UAT test execution, document defects, resolve issues with project resources, and report progress to stakeholders
  • Closure and Transition: You will ensure all artefacts are stored properly, prepare test completion reports, and facilitate review and sign-off processes
  • Risk and Compliance: You will support the implementation of risk and compliance frameworks, foster a culture of risk awareness, and ensure regulatory compliance

How do you exceed our expectations?

You are adept at risk-based test scope management and creating testing requirements traceability and have proven ability to apply testing processes and terminology to practical scenarios.

In addition, you have:

  • Experience working with project teams, technology teams, and third-party vendors
  • Practical experience across the end-to-end testing life cycle, including test planning, execution, and reporting
  • Comprehensive understanding of testing methodologies (both waterfall and agile) and their role within the SDLC and STLC
  • Experience in risk-based test scope management and creating testing requirements traceability
  • Proven ability to apply testing processes and terminology to practical scenarios
  • Experience in Superannuation, especially within Super administration, Investments, or WRAP platforms (highly desired)
  • Proficiency in using testing tools such as Spiratest, JIRA, and Zephyr
