Key Responsibilities
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property & Conveyancing Solicitor to join the dynamic team at ACT. As a full-time Property & Conveyancing Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality legal services to our growing client base, with a focus on property law and conveyancing in the ACT and NSW.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on all aspects of property transactions, including residential and commercial property sales and purchases, leases, and other property-related matters
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to property transactions
- Preparing settlement statements, and coordinating with external parties such as real estate agents and lenders
- Providing expert guidance and support to clients throughout the conveyancing process, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction
- Staying up-to-date with changes in property law and regulations, and advising clients accordingly
- Collaborating with the wider legal team to provide exceptional client service and support
- Admitted as a legal practitioner with 1+ years of post-admission experience in property law and conveyancing
- Excellent legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Exceptional client service skills and the ability to provide clear, concise, and practical advice to clients
- A proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency in using legal technology and software (LEAP) to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
