Anglicare Southern Queensland is a leader in the Home & Community sector with a reputation for providing quality care. Our Cleveland service has an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to be part of our highly valued Allied Health team on a permanent part-time basis of 3 days per week.

Focused on supporting our community clients - you will be instrumental in promoting their independence, by improving aspects of their daily living. We are proud to say our Community and Allied Health teams, who you will work closely with are a genuine caring group of people, who provide holistic care that have the client's needs at the forefront of everything they do.

About You
You may be newly graduated or have experience in either the community, private practice or hospital sectors, you will be someone who loves the client-focused aspect of your work and is keen to join an organisation that promotes innovation and development within Allied Health and is supported by a strong Multi disciplinary team.

What we look for:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA
  • First Aid Certificate with CPR
  • A National Police Certificate
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Conduct home based evaluations, devising care plans and writing functional reports
  • Assessing the home environment and prescribing aids, equipment and modifications as required
  • Planning, coordination and implementation of group therapy programs as required
  • Excellent communication and good time management skills
  • Membership (or eligibility) with the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists, Queensland
