Fleet Technical Assistant
Mid-Western Region Council has an exciting
opportunity for a full-time Fleet Technical Assistant!
This position will work with and support the Workshop and Fleet Coordinator
to ensure the efficient and effective administration of the workshop and to act
as the initial point of contact for customer enquiries.
The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $2,633.20 - $2963.90 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $68,463.20 - $77,061.40 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).

Key Accountabilities
- To work effectively as part of the Fleet team providing technical and administrative assistance in the delivery of fleet projects and programes.
- Assist in the scheduling of Council’s fleet maintenance and repair requirements.
- Assist in warranty claim investigations and reporting.
- Coordinate insurance claims and repairs relating to Council’s fleet.
- Provide support to Workshop Coordinator Council’s workshop and fleet objectives.
- Provide effective and efficient administration of Council’s Asset Management and Finance System;
- Communicate with the public and Council employees providing courteous and accurate information with a focus on understanding and meeting their needs.
- To actively promote and demonstrate the core values and behavioural requirements of the Workplace Environment Statement.
