Senior SAP Test Analyst

About the role:
Our key Local Government client is looking for a Senior Sap Test Analyst for a 12 month initial engagement. The Senior Test Analyst will lead ERP/SAP testing efforts, including the development of supporting documentation and reports. They will work as part of a dedicated Test team delivering testing services for the project.

Responsabilities:

• Test Planning & Strategy – Develop detailed test plans and summary reports in alignment with Council guidelines and industry best practices.
• Test Case Development – Design and document comprehensive test cases and relevant test data based on project requirements.
• Test Team Coordination – Oversee and coordinate testing activities across the project team as needed.
• Mentoring & Support – Provide guidance and mentorship to Council subject matter experts on effective testing methodologies and practices.
• Test Execution – Perform test execution when required and maintain test cases throughout the project lifecycle.
• Results Documentation – Record and report testing outcomes with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness.
• Quality Standards Assurance – Ensure that testing standards and templates comply with Council expectations and consistently monitor adherence to defined practices.

Requirements:

SAP Project Delivery Excellence

• Proven experience in delivering SAP projects, with a strong track record of successfully managing complex transformation initiatives on time, within budget, and in alignment with defined success metrics.

SAP Technology & Infrastructure Expertise

• Extensive experience with SAP technologies and ICT infrastructure across large, multi-entity, and geographically dispersed environments
• Strong understanding of SAP system landscapes (development, quality assurance, production) and integration architectures
• Proficient in cloud deployment models—including on-premise, hybrid, and cloud-native—and in implementing performance optimization techniques

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification in Software Testing
• Hands-on experience with SAP Activate Methodology, including fit-to-standard workshops and agile delivery approaches
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, including digital core transformations and ECC to S/4HANA migration projects
• Experience in implementing and integrating SAP SuccessFactors solutions
• Proven involvement in greenfield SAP implementations, spanning from business blueprinting to post go-live support
