Role Purpose
Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a passion for tax and compliance? We’re looking for a Corporate Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the financial integrity of the Capricorn Group.
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our tax and financial accounting operations—ensuring accuracy across the general ledger, managing statutory reporting, and driving compliance for income tax, GST, and FBT. You’ll also collaborate across departments, bringing your expertise and interpersonal flair to support our corporate accounting functions and month-end processes.

Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a passion for tax and compliance? We’re looking for a Corporate Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the financial integrity of the Capricorn Group.

You’ll also collaborate across departments, bringing your expertise and interpersonal flair to support our corporate accounting functions and month-end processes.
What You’ll Bring
- A strong grasp of accounting principles and tax compliance.
- Hands-on experience with income tax, deferred tax, financial disclosures, BAS, and FBT.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset—you enjoy working closely with stakeholders and cost centre owners.
- Bonus points for exposure to New Zealand tax and accounting (but not essential!).
- CA or CPA qualified, with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience.
- A degree in commerce, finance, or a related field.
- Big Four audit or tax experience? Even better!
