About The Role
Ventia is seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join our Justice Contract at the Operations Centre based in Canning Vale. This is a Full Time, Permanent position with flexible work from home options as well as flexible start and finish times.
This position will see you deliver end-to-end Finance services for the contract, including accurate reporting, forecasting, budgeting, payroll, accounts, and month-end consolidation for the Court Security and Custodial Services (CS&CS) contract.

About The Role
Ventia is seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join our Justice Contract at the Operations Centre based in Canning Vale. This is a Full Time, Permanent position with flexible work from home options as well as flexible start and finish times.
This position will see you deliver end-to-end Finance services for the contract, including accurate reporting, forecasting, budgeting, payroll, accounts, and month-end consolidation for the Court Security and Custodial Services (CS&CS) contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse project performance, overheads and forecasts
- Comparing actual costs to budgeted costs to identify areas where performance differs from expectations
- Deliver quarterly reforecasts and project margin analysis
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the business
- Conduct ad hoc financial modelling and strategic analysis
- Oversee accurate payroll processing across the full pay–cost–bill cycle
- Oversee accounts payable, including PO creation (SAP/Ariba), vendor management, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliant purchasing and maintain PO accuracy through timely resolution and goods receipting
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards would be highly regarded
- Experience in Project Finance, ideally in large organisations
- Proficient in MS Excel, Power Bi and Ariba highly desirable
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, the ability to influence non-financial personnel
