Role Purpose
The Dynamics 365 Functional Analyst is responsible for supporting the organisation's implementation and ongoing use of Microsoft Dynamics 365. The role involves working with stakeholders to understand their business needs, translating requirements into system specifications, conducting system configurations, testing, training, and providing post-implementation support.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units to understand their processes and requirements, and translate these into detailed build requirements for Dynamics 365 and Azure solutions.
- Create and draw Business Process Flow (BPF) diagrams and other technical diagrams to support business process re-engineering efforts.
- Assist with the data migration design from legacy systems to Dynamics 365, ensuring data integrity and compatibility.
- Assist with system testing to guarantee functional requirements are met and to identify any potential issues. This includes executing test cases and performing end-to-end testing.
- Develop training materials and deliver user training sessions to ensure effective adoption of Dynamics 365 across the organisation.
- Provide ongoing support, including analysing and resolving system issues, responding to user queries, and coordinating with technical resources when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of new Dynamics 365 features and functionality, recommending and implementing upgrades and enhancements as appropriate.
The successful contractor will be a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented person with solid interpersonal skills and have experience in:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and interact with non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong analytical skills to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details.
Minimum 4 years previous experience as a Dynamics 365 Functional Analyst working for a large IT/ICT organisation or IT Projects (involving significant and/or complex business change elements).
Essential Qualifications/Certifications/Skills
The Contractor must have experience in, and knowledge of, the following:
- Proven experience in a functional analyst or similar role, with a deep understanding of Dynamics 365 capabilities and limitations.
- Familiarity with business process re-engineering and the creation of detailed workflow diagrams.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365 will be considered an asset.
- Experience with Customer Service, Customer Insights - Journeys, and Project Operations.
- Proficient in BPMN 2.0
8 Hours/day - 40 Hour working week.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal History Check.
