We’re looking for a Systems Engineer who thrives on innovation, automation, and AI-driven solutions. What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and deploy automated systems to streamline business operations that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual workloads across all departments
• Build and integrate AI Agents for enhanced data processing, customer experience, internal processes, fleet optimisation and data analysis
• Lead the development and implementation of infrastructure automation (e.g. CI/CD, scripting, API integrations)
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver secure and scalable systems ensuring reliability and performance
• Develop monitoring tools and dashboards to ensure high system uptime and fast incident response
• Assist in building scalable cloud-based infrastructure using tools
• Develop rather than engage off the shelf systems to ensure a lean ongoing cost base.
• Stay ahead of technology trends and recommend innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability across multi-site operations
• Leverage WebSockets to enable real-time updates for dashboards, customer interaction and multi-branch coordination

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar technical role
• A clear perspective, and creative thought on the scope and possibility that Agentic AI can bring to a small business of our kind
• Proven experience with automation tools
• Knowledge of AI/ML tools and how to apply them in operational environments
• Strong grasp of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code
• Strong coding skills in Node.js, React, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience with API development and integration (RESTful APIs, webhooks, authentication protocols)
• Experience with WebSocket-based applications for real-time data delivery
• Advanced SharePoint development (custom lists, workflows, Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Proficiency in Power BI for building interactive, data-rich dashboards
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools (e.g., Azure AI, OpenAI, TensorFlow) and their application in business operations
• Champion a build-over-buy philosophy, developing in-house tools that reduce long-term costs and increase flexibility
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across business unit
• Ability to train and explain to the team
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
