About This Role

Brunel are proud to partner with our client who are looking to add a Full Time, Permanent Project Manager to their team.

Working as a Project Manager, you will take a leading role on projects from concept design and development stages, through to construction and completion.

  • Planning all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Obtaining all necessary regulations and permits.
  • Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
  • Managing your Site Managers and Foreman oversees their work.
  • Communicating with clients and delivers project progress reports.
  • Continuing positive relationship with subcontractors.
  • Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
  • Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.
  • Uses scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. (Required)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management within the Australian Commercial Construction industry (Required)
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Queensland.
