Northern Beaches Hospital is looking to employ CASUAL Kitchen Hands to join their busy Food Services department. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
$28.43 per hour Monday to Friday, $42.64 on Saturdays & $49.75 on Sundays.

Applicants will be required to provide a current (12 months or less) National Police check and a NSW Working with Children’s Check, prior to appointment and persons in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity and vaccination certificates to specified infectious diseases prior to commencement.

As a Kitchen Hand Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Maintaining a clean and tidy environment for all food service related areas of the hospital
- Basic food preparation
- Cleaning duties, including fridges and preparation areas, kitchen area and dish wash area
- Monitoring and recording of all relevant food safety data
- General cleaning and sanitising of all areas of food preparation areas.
Selection Criteria
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements & hold a basic food handlers certificate
- Flexible to work both morning and evening shits across a 7 day rotating roster
- Track record of providing great service and customer experience
- Effective communication skills
- Demonstrate a great work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
- Respect and work well with others to achieve goals
- Act with integrity and show care for the people you work with
- Embrace change and seek ways to improve service
- Motivated by personal growth and accountability
- Must be available to work early morning 6am start time and afternoon shifts 2pm start time on 7-day rotating rosters
