We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Project Coordinator (APS6 equivalent) to provide oversight over the Agency’s Cyber Security team’s engagements and ensure successful outcomes. This role involves coordinating and managing cyber security projects in a multi-vendor environment, creating and managing integrated project schedules, tracking progress, and minimizing project risk. The successful candidate will possess sufficient technical knowledge to understand and communicate complex information to various stakeholders.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of cyber security work packages for Agency projects, including security requirements definition, integrating security testing schedules, aligning dependencies, and tracking progress.
• Acquire, maintain, and apply an in-depth knowledge of the Agency’s project management framework, methodologies, and activities.
• Provide expertise and technical knowledge in the Agency’s project management framework, including accurate and specialized advice for project-related activities.
• Coordinate and provide support to ensure Agency projects comply with assurance and governance processes for policy, security, clinical safety, and design.
• Collaborate with other Agency project managers to develop and maintain project risk and issue registers, identifying and reporting variances and issues.
• Manage the delivery of security testing services through multiple external vendors.
  
  

Skills And Experience Required

• Minimum of four years of experience managing projects with a cyber security or technical focus.
• Formal qualifications in a project management discipline (e.g., Prince2/PMBOK).
• Demonstrated knowledge of cyber security project deliverables (e.g., security requirements definition, security testing types).
• Demonstrated experience in managing the delivery of cyber security work packages/projects.
• Relevant project management experience to deliver technical projects.
• Proven record of managing projects that achieve/uphold security certifications such as ISO27001 and ISM is highly regarded.
