As a trusted ASO5 Finance Officer, you will support financial operations by:
- Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
- Supporting financial modelling, costing, and analysis for internal projects
- Managing accounts payable and receivable in compliance with policy and legislation
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to monitor financial performance
- Contributing to internal audits, risk reviews, and process improvements
- Maintaining financial data integrity and supporting financial systems enhancements
A Dynamic Finance Professional Who Brings
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role (ideally in the public sector)
- Strong skills in Excel and financial systems (TechOne/MYOB/BASWARE experience highly desirable)
- A proactive, analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or related fields
