About the Role:
We are seeking a Commercial Partner to join our Finance & Investment division. You will play a key role in ensuring procurement activities across the organisation are compliant, efficient, and strategically aligned. This role is responsible for overseeing procurement governance and providing expert support on procurement activities, including strategy development, tender evaluation, contract negotiation (in collaboration with Legal), and ongoing contract management.
You will act as a trusted advisor to project teams, helping to drive best practice and deliver strong commercial outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that shape sustainable and affordable communities across NSW.

About the Role:
We are seeking a Commercial Partner to join our Finance & Investment division. You will play a key role in ensuring procurement activities across the organisation are compliant, efficient, and strategically aligned. This role is responsible for overseeing procurement governance and providing expert support on procurement activities, including strategy development, tender evaluation, contract negotiation (in collaboration with Legal), and ongoing contract management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Govern procurement processes to ensure compliance with Landcom’s policies and procedures.
- Provide expert advice and support on procurement strategy, tendering, contract negotiation, and contract management.
- Execute procurement contracts under Power of Attorney in line with Landcom’s execution policies.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive collaboration and commercial outcomes.
- Support continuous improvement of procurement processes, systems, and technologies.
- Deliver training and support to staff on procurement policies and procedures.
- Maintain and enhance Landcom’s procurement systems, panels, and supplier performance records.
- Support high-value or high-risk procurements in collaboration with senior commercial staff.
You will ideally have:
- Tertiary qualifications in procurement, contract management, commerce, law, or a related field.
- Experience in procurement or commercial management within the construction, property, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong understanding of tendering, contract management, and associated risk and probity requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with government procurement frameworks and policies is desirable.
