About The Role

The Elders Finance Systems and Data Analysis Team (FSDA) is in an exciting growth phase, presenting a rare opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to contribute to the achievement of key business outcomes for the Elders business.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial and technological landscape for the Elders business. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will support the Elders technical environment to ensure accurate and high quality information for our stakeholders from executive to operational level. Combining business understanding and information technology, you will deliver highly efficient and optimised information solutions across the Elders business. The position also ensures continuous improvement in efficiency for Finance and other business processes.

Responsibilities

As a Business Intelligence Developer at Elders you will support our diverse and dynamic team in developing, maintaining and improving:

  • Data analysis and visualisation
  • Data model creation
  • Dashboard and report creation
  • Business performance intelligence and reporting across key business areas
  • BAU and Self Service support

You will be responsible for understanding the wider business reporting and analytics requirements for Elders and communicating those requirements as realised business outcomes.

About You

To succeed at Elders as a Business Intelligence Developer, you will:

  • Have some experience in using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (or later) RDBMS & SSRS, DAX studio and Tabular Editor 3 (desired)
  • Have some experience in analytical reporting.
  • Be familiar with DevOps/GitHub source control and principles
  • Be a strong analytical and commercially minded professional
  • Be accountable for results
  • Be capable of working independently and solving problems
  • Possess great communication skill, both written and verbal and capable of working with stakeholders at all levels
