Sales & Research Intern

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct follow up calls to existing clients including but not limited to AML campaign, events invitation and resources introduction to existing clients
• Involved in outbound call campaigns to contact potential clients (No cold calling), assisting them in completing the application and funding process
• Provide clients with best-in-class service on phone, chats, and email
• Conduct basic KYC of the clients to understand their backgrounds and concerns, before assigning back to Sales and FSRs for further follow up
• Provide financial industry research, data collection and analysis, construction of data visuals, and professional writing (that could include fact sheets, reports and/or web content)
• Be up to date with global financial news update and intelligently articulate financial and market-related concepts as well as FXCM products and services.
• Mediate a variety of situations, conversations and customers with composure and professionalism.
• Consistently take initiative to learn about the markets, FX industry and new FXCM platforms and products.
• Be a team player and proactively collaborate with the Financial Services Team to manage time, resources, volume, and customer feedback.

• Assist in managing social media commentary

Critical Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Ideal applicants will have an interest in finance, economics, business and/or statistics
• Previous customer services and data analysis experience and proficiency with Microsoft PPT and Excel is preferred
• A top applicant will be a detail-oriented self-starter with strong language and communication skills across all mediums and a demonstrated ability to think critically
• English proficiency - C1
• Post - Graduate and Undergraduate students in economics, business (management or finance), statistics or related field
