About The Role
We are seeking an Associate Product Manager – Gastroenterology (GI) to join our dynamic Medical Division at our Notting Hill, Head Office in Melbourne.
Reporting to the Product Manager - GI, you’ll support the development and execution of marketing plans that protect and grow our product portfolio across Australia and New Zealand.
You’ll work cross functionally with internal stakeholders and support our Sales Specialists with technical product knowledge. The role also involves engaging with healthcare professionals, surgical colleges, and industry bodies, and contributing to product launches, market analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans
- Track and analyse market trends and competitor activity
- Support product launches and communication strategies across ANZ
- Ensure the Sales Team is equipped with the tools and information to succeed
- Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including HCPs and specialist medical bodies
- Collaborate across Olympus departments, including Supply Chain, Sales, and Medical Affairs
- Support forecasting, reporting, and budget management for your product area
- Provide training support and assist in the execution of events, tradeshows, and product presentations

You will consider yourself to be a proactive, detail orientated individual with a continuous improvement mindset. In addition, you possess:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Health Science, or a related field
- Previous marketing experience preferably in the medical devices industry, sales experience is also desirable
- Experience in preparation & execution of sales & marketing plans
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive mindset and ability to work across functions
- Willingness to travel for meetings, training, and industry events
- SAP and Salesforce experience is advantageous
- Effective presentation skills
