What You’ll Do
As a Hospital Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to take on responsibilities that go beyond the scope of Community Pharmacy. This includes managing imprest supplies and assisting Pharmacists on the wards with discharge preparations.
Key Responsibilities
Slade Pharmacy Royal Rehab is located at the ground floor of Royal Rehabilitation Hospital. This rehabilitation facility provides specialised care and tailored recovery programs for individuals with complex health conditions, including neurological, spinal, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Shift Information
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. While hospital pharmacy experience is highly valued, it’s not essential. However, previous experience in pharmacy dispensing is required to ensure a confident start in the role.

What You’ll Do
As a Hospital Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to take on responsibilities that go beyond the scope of Community Pharmacy. This includes managing imprest supplies and assisting Pharmacists on the wards with discharge preparations.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense and supply medications for inpatients and outpatients
- Coordinate the safe, accurate and timely supply of all medications
- Keep accurate records of continuing and existing treatments and organise confirmation of future orders
- Assist with the management of PBS claim and owing prescriptions
- Support stock management and inventory control
- Handle customer account billing and maintain accurate records
- Prepare medication discharge profiles
- Deliver and collect medications across the hospital
- Respond to patient account enquiries

While hospital pharmacy experience is highly valued, it’s not essential. However, previous experience in pharmacy dispensing is required to ensure a confident start in the role.
