Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Senior Accountant to join our team at Head Office in Docklands on a 12-month contract. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the organisation's financial activities related to cash flow and reporting. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting principles and practices, we invite you to apply.
What will you do?
- Support treasury operations, manage cash resources, and monitor financial transactions
- Ensure financial and policy compliance
- Assist in the delivery of accurate and timely statutory reporting
- Manage insurance processes and aid with income tax processes
- Extract, analyse, and report on findings
- CPA or CA qualified or near completion
- Proven experience in a financial accounting role
- Experience in developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in cashflow management and taxation preferred
