Functional Business Analyst

• 6 month initial contract with likely extension
• Hybrid role - 2 days in Central Sydney office and 3 days WFH

We're seeking a Functional Business Analyst to support a large-scale digital uplift project focused on modernising asset-related processes through spatial and geolocation technologies

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops Analyse existing business processes and develop improved workflow
• Collaborate with technical teams to support solution design and alignment with business needs
• Produce clear documentation including functional specs, user stories, and training materials
• Support user testing and stakeholder engagement throughout the delivery lifecycle

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience in business analysis, ideally across digital transformation or systems integration
• Strong skills in process mapping and workflow improvement
• Ability to translate complex requirements into structured documentation
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience with geospatial tools (e.g. ArcGIS) is a bonus but not mandatory
