What You'll Do

You'll Also Be Involved In
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain both new and existing web-based as well as client/server applications to meet evolving business needs.
- Apply fixes, upgrades, and enhancements to applications based on user feedback while maintaining high standards of quality control throughout the process
- Deliver core application management, maintenance, and support services in line with agreed service levels to ensure system reliability and performance
- Lead efforts in the continuous improvement of modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices such as Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Offer technical advice to team members, fostering an environment of shared learning and mutual support within the group.
- Mentor less experienced colleagues by assisting in their professional development and encouraging best practice adoption across projects.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation that can enhance current solutions or introduce new capabilities.
- Undertake other duties as directed by management to support the overall goals of the IT division.
- Great understanding of contemporary software development lifecycle practices including Agile methodologies and DevOps principles is required
- ITIL Certification or practical experience applying ITIL processes would be advantageous but not mandatory for this role.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives within SDLC processes through collaborative engagement with peers is important
- Proficiency across a range of computing tools including word processing applications, spreadsheets, databases, internet resources, and email systems is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the design of enterprise-grade solutions while providing technical direction within project teams is highly valued.
