  • Our Client a Federal government agency is looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Support/Governence Officer for their team in Canberra. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth delivery of projects by providing administrative and operational support to project managers and teams. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.


    Candidates must have demonstrated experience:

    • Scheduling meetings
    • Drafting correspondence for review
    • Collating packs for committee/board meetings from a variety of sources, including summarising content for executive review (e.g. drafting dashboards)
    • Taking clear and concise minutes of committee/board and tender meetings, considering the broader strategic environment
    • Organising and maintaining paper and electronic files
    • Tracking the status of project documentation and proactively communicating when required content is overdue or a project is at risk
    • Providing information to stakeholders and, where relevant, referring queries to the correct committee stakeholders

    Desirable

    • Ability to critically assess documentation (e.g. confirm a project's reporting status against the agreed criteria) and proactively assess the appropriate next steps in consultation with leadership
    • Demonstrated experience tailoring messages to a variety of audiences
    • Experience with TRIM record management system
