Based in Adelaide and reporting to the Executive Manager Residential and Home Care, the General Manager, Home and Community Support is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team and driving the expansion and operational excellence of services including Home Care Packages, the Commonwealth Home Support Program, and Restorative Care and Wellbeing Programs. Key responsibilities include:
- leading the strategic direction and operational management of LHG’s in home and community support services;
- driving growth and innovation across multiple service lines, aligned with evolving client needs and sector reforms;
- ensuring compliance with aged care legislation, funding agreements, and quality standards;
- building and supporting a high performing, growth oriented and values aligned team culture;
- strengthening relationships with clients, families, government agencies, and community partners;
- collaborating with LHG’s leadership group and other service areas to optimise the organisation’s positioning as a leader in delivering high quality, integrated services;
- overseeing financial performance, risk management, and service quality;
- championing continuous improvement, agility, and client centred care.
Applications are encouraged from accomplished leaders with extensive experience in aged care, community services, or health sectors, and a proven track record of leading service growth and transformation. Experience in home and community support services will be highly regarded. Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. Tertiary qualifications in business, health, or a related field are highly desirable.
