The Head of Marketing is a specialised position responsible for the planning, creation, and implementation of the organisation's brand, marketing, communications, and fundraising strategies, in line with organisational objectives. This is a busy, hands-on role that would suit a highly experienced marketing generalist.

The Head of Marketing is a specialised position responsible for the planning, creation, and implementation of the organisation's brand, marketing, communications, and fundraising strategies, in line with organisational objectives. What You’ll Do
As our Head of Marketing and Communications, you will report to the Executive Director of Brand and Infrastructure and manage the Marketing Design Assistant, to:
- Strategically building awareness of our brand and services in Early Learning and Youth Services
- Engaging and nurturing internal and external customer relationships
- Acting as the internal brand ambassador, supporting a strong internal brand culture.
- Providing strategic marketing and communications advice to the Executive and other internal stakeholders
- Developing and nurturing the Marketing Team, building capability and effectiveness
- Plan, produce and implement marketing and communications strategies to effectively engage key audiences, promoting our brand and services across a range of channels, including but not limited to, PR, Website, Social, SEO, Content, Email, Print and Events.
- Develop retention and engagement programs to nurture and leverage existing customers and partner relationships.
- Manage agencies and suppliers as required and in-line with procurement and delegation processes.
- Manage the creation of the monthly internal reporting
- Foster a culture of continual improvement and best practice
As a specialised member of the Marketing Team, you will bring:
- Extensive experience in Marketing/Communications with senior leadership experience, developing and managing budgets, managing teams, and collaborating with senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing marketing strategies, both online and offline, that have delivered measurable results
- Demonstrated hands-on experience managing and implementing change
- Demonstrated experience improving marketing processes, balancing effectiveness and efficiency
- Demonstrated competency in utilising SEO data to support measurement of outcomes
- Experience implementing a brand refresh/rebrand, highly regarded
- Experience with large website projects highly regarded
- Experience in not-for-profit or Child and/or Youth organisations highly regarded
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent time management, administrative and organisational skills with the ability to plan workload, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances
- High competency in Microsoft Office Programs record keeping and administration
- Competency in Monday highly regarded.
- Working knowledge, or higher, of Adobe Creative Suite
