We’re on the lookout for a thoughtful and creative UX/UI Designer to join our team.

As a UX/UI Designer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including developers, project managers, strategists, and copywriters, to deliver innovative solutions that align with client objectives. You will be responsible for guiding projects from concept to completion while ensuring the best user experience through intuitive, user-centered design.


The ideal candidate should be able to efficiently combine creativity, functionality, and technology to solve user problems across a vast range of web applications, emerging technology products and campaigns. In this role you will:

  • Apply user-centred design methodologies, from capturing key user pain points and behaviours through user research and usability testing to crafting key user flows, wireframes, information architectures and prototypes.
  • Synthesise insights from research to inform design decisions and create user personas, journey maps, and key recommendations.
  • Think creatively and develop design/artistic concepts, graphics, and layouts.
  • Present design concepts, solutions, and rationale to clients and internal teams, incorporating feedback and refining designs accordingly.
  • Design high-fidelity user interfaces that are both functionally performant, aesthetically pleasing and aligned with the broader design work and client identity/requirements.
  • Ensure consistency of visual elements, typography, and design patterns across various platforms and devices.
  • Apply your high-level understanding of front-end development practice (i.e. use of UI library) by creating compelling design style guides and design systems, ensuring best collaboration with development teams.
  • Ensure proper use of collaborative design tools (such as Figma) in a manner that facilitates prototyping, reuse of component library and development practices.
  • Work closely with developers and creative teams, ensuring designs are technically feasible and that user experience is seamless across different devices and screen sizes.
  • Champion and showcase innovative products through the use of emerging technologies.


About you

  • A degree in experience design, graphic design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, preferably in an agency setting or integrated environment.
  • A portfolio of previous digital design work to showcase experience and creativity.
  • Excellent software skills, especially with web design-related tools (Figma), other -prototyping tools.
  • Experience with applied design thinking and user experience design, including user research and usability testing.
  • Experience using agile methodology and project tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Good knowledge and experience in Human Centred Design activities involving end users of application.
  • Interest in emerging technologies and innovative front-end solutions, whether used in a web environment, digital activation, etc.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of design style guide, design systems and development frameworks.
  • Up-to-date knowledge about the latest experience design techniques and trends.

This is a full-time position; however, part-time and flexible work arrangements can be considered. Think HQ is a family-friendly, hybrid workplace. Our in-office days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Our Flex days are Tuesday and Thursday.
